Wear/bring?

To ensure you’re comfortable and ready to move, please bring the following:

• Comfortable workout attire that allows full range of motion
• Grip socks, ballet slippers, or bare feet (no street shoes in the studio)
• A yoga mat (optional but recommended for floor work)
• A light towel
• A water bottle to stay hydrated

No prior dance experience is required — just come with an open mind and a willingness to move.

Level 4 Essentrics™ Zara Safarian

Zara Safarian brings a unique blend of scientific knowledge and movement expertise to her teaching. A retired biochemist, she transitioned into fitness instruction in 2018, dedicating herself to helping others achieve strength, flexibility, and balance through the Essentrics™ method. Certified at the highest level (Level 4), she specializes in dynamic, full-body movement sequences designed to improve mobility, posture, body awareness, and overall well-being.

From an early age, Zara discovered the powerful connection between movement and music, realizing their ability to uplift the mind and body. Inspired by the grace of flexible, balanced bodies adorned with long, lean muscles, she explored various exercise programs before finding her true passion in Essentrics™—a technique that perfectly aligns with her vision of fluid, pain-free movement.

Zara’s teaching philosophy is deeply personal. With the support of her late husband, Daniel, she embarked on her Essentrics™ journey, and after his passing in 2020, she chose to honor his memory by donating all her teaching earnings to the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network (NCAN). As a volunteer wellness teacher, she continues to share her passion, believing in the transformative power of movement to bring joy, healing, and resilience.

As a mother and grandmother, Zara understands the importance of maintaining a strong, agile body at every stage of life. Her morning class welcomes students of all levels—from brand-new dancers to advanced ballet practitioners—helping them build a solid foundation for ballet training while fostering connection, courage, and happiness.
