Adult Ballet

Beginner | Intermediate | Advanced Level Adult Ballet Classes

The Grand Academy of Ballet offers adult ballet classes for ages 16 and up, focuses on creating overall body awareness while improving posture, toning and sculpting, improving range and flexibility, balance and coordination, and promoting creative expression. As an added bonus, ballet exercises relieve stress by shifting your focus and relaxing your mind, so that all of the day’s anxiety can be washed away!

We have assembled an exclusive team of Russian Vaganova Trained teachers that commit to upholding the highest standards of ballet, preserving the traditions of Vaganova through a systematic approach, based on the culture and curriculum of the Vaganova method.

Single Class: $25
5 Class Pass: $120 ($24/class)
10 Class Pass: $230 ($23/class)
15 Class Pass: $330 ($22/class)
Private Ballet Lessons $125 per hour

ADULT BALLET POLICIES

Participants must be at least 16 years old
Participants may register either online through the Member Portal or in-person. Classes have limited capacity and spots will be secured on a first come first serve basis
Please arrive on time, latecomers will not be accommodated.
Ballet Attire with soft ballet slippers is Required for Class

Character Class

Character dance is vital in classical ballet, offering versatility for dancers. Ballets often feature group dances with Hungarian, Polish, Russian, or other national styles. Our classes let dancers explore these dances. Our expert teachers teach traditional steps, stylistic nuances, and performance elements. Students also connect character dance with classical technique. Required Intermediate Level Ballet

Stretching & Body Conditioning

Elevate your mobility, enhance overall flexibility, and supercharge your performance. Our 55-minute stretching class focuses on lengthening, toning, and strengthening the entire body with a dynamic combination of functional, compound, and isolating muscle exercises. This is an Open Class!

Adult Contemporary Ballet

Explore deep expressions and various movement styles in our contemporary dance classes. Learn to convey stories through body language and communication. Required Intermediate Level Ballet

Dancer’s will learn how to fluidly move their body while also forming a connection with their inner emotions. This class is beneficial to actors and musical theater individuals, as the environment captures the same energy needed on stage. The class brings together individuals with common interests in expressing emotions through dance.
